Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park (Part of the formerly Selous Game Reserve)

9:30 AM, you will go for a village tour and explore the local area, see the daily lives of local people, and learn about the local culture. After the village tour, return to the camp for lunch at 13:00 PM.

This trip offers an opportunity to spot the abundant birdlife, hippos, and crocodiles while enjoying the spectacular sundown. Your guide will also be able to point out interesting birds and plant species during this trip. After the boat safari, return to your accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay.


Village Tour, Culture and Boat Safari in the Mighty Rufiji River

After breakfast, you will do another full-day game & Flying to Zanzibar . Go on different routes from the previous day, starting from the Selous Safari lodge where you will be picked up by our professional drivers and guides. Today, you will get to see various animals including elephant, zebra, giraffe, antelope and more. You will also see birds, landscape scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest, and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains.
You will also get a chance to visit a hotspring and even go swimming, but it depends on the accessibility of the road to the location, since during the rainy season, there will be mud on the road.
In the afternoon, you will get a packed lunch then continue with the game drive and back to the airstrip.
